In-Field Hydrocooling
On our Peruvian farms, we have uniquely invested in technology to hydrocool avocados directly in the field before packing.
Hydrocooling is the process of submerging fruit in near-freezing water to rapidly reduce fruit temperature. This strategic postharvest practice in our world-class cold chain extends avocado shelf life, minimizes fruit damage, and promotes long-lasting quality.
