MISSION PRODUCE APPOINTS SVP OF SALES AND MARKETING, PROMOTES FOUR SENIOR LEADERS
OXNARD, Calif. – October 26, 2022 – Mission Produce, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVO) (“Mission”) a world leader in sourcing, producing, and distributing fresh Hass avocados with additional offerings in mangos, today announced the advancement of its sales and marketing departments to position the Company for continued growth and to capitalize on evolving opportunities in the avocado and mango categories. Leading the effort, Cheryl Hoefs joins the Company as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales and Marketing to support Mission’s overarching corporate strategy and to drive profitable growth. In addition, Mission promoted several senior leaders within the sales department, including Brooke Becker, Patrick Cortes and Hector Soltero to Vice President positions, and Roberto Rodriguez to Director of International Exports.

As SVP of Sales and Marketing, Hoefs will oversee Mission’s business development, retail, foodservice, and wholesale programs in the U.S., as well as international export sales. She is responsible for the leadership and development of the sales and marketing teams, while facilitating a culture that embodies Mission Produce’s core values: Fun, Innovative, Reliable, Successful and Trustworthy.
Hoefs comes to Mission with nearly thirty years of experience in business development, marketing and team leadership. She previously held senior-level sales positions at companies including Sabra Dipping Company, The Kellogg Company, Acosta and PepsiCo. Her credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Marketing from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) concentrated in Finance from Saint Mary’s University.
